Stand up comedian, writer, and podcaster Leah Renee is the only real ex-Mormon-housewife-turned comedian working on the scene today (that she knows of). :)
She's a storyteller comedian with a uniquely personal perspective on culture, religion, gender roles, and motherhood. Her comedy offers a warm, distinct voice in a crowded field of Tinder/ Trump/ travel jokes.

As a part of my general golden rule "do unto others", and my commitment to the slow media movement, I've chosen not to add to the flood of mindless content on the internet (specifically social media).
I only post enough of my work online for someone to decide if they'd like to see me perform in person. I don't post my best stuff (or my edgier stuff). I save that for in person shows. Partially so that people who book comedy shows know I can work clean and to avoid the torrent of comments that inevitably come with "high arousal emotion" (or controversial) media.
I left social media almost entirely a couple of years ago as a deliberate protest against unethical platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Twitter.
I aim to slowly grow through old fashioned word-of-mouth, email list, and enchanted witches who'll promise me fame in exchange for something like a lock of the queen's hair or firstborn child.
