Leah Renee is the world's only exMormon tradwife standup comedian who gave birth to a ten pound baby in her kitchen. She's confident she will remain so because most women don't pinch out a baby next to their fridge. There are even fewer women who are comedians than homebirthers.
There may be an formerly Jehovah's Witness comedian that had a baby in her car, or a c-section exMo tradwife who does open mics - but no one has the specific combination Leah does.
Just making a point that Leah tells jokes and stories you wont hear anywhere else. Did we mention she also worked at an exotic veterinary clinic? There. How's that for "unique selling point"?
She currently lives in Philadelphia and performs regularly at clubs, theatres, bars, and anywhere else that seems like a good fit.
She regularly performs at festivals around the world, including a four time performer at Edinburgh Fringe, the world's largest arts festival. Her solo comedy hours are as much journeys as they are jokes. Everything from homebirth to Narcaninng guinea pigs to magic underwear, Leah Renee will say something in her show that you didn't know about.
I don't post most of my jokes online
I only post enough of my work online for someone to decide if they'd like to see me perform in person. I don't post my best stuff (or my edgier stuff). I save that for in person shows. Partially so that people who book comedy shows know I can work clean and to avoid the torrent of comments that inevitably come with "high arousal emotion" (or controversial) media.
I left social media almost entirely a couple of years ago as a deliberate protest against unethical platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Twitter.
I aim to slowly grow through old fashioned word-of-mouth, email list, and enchanted witches who'll promise me fame in exchange for something like a lock of the queen's hair or firstborn child.
