About

Leah Renee is a stand up comedian based in Philadelphia/NYC. She’s storyteller comedian with a uniquely personal perspective on culture, religion, gender roles and motherhood, her comedy offers a warm and distinct voice in a crowded field of Tinder/Trump/Am-I-right? jokes.
A rising star in the emerging comedy + storytelling + physical comedy scene, she has performed, hosted and/or produced nearly 1000 shows at comedy festivals, clubs, bars, and theatres across the US and UK, including over 100 shows and spots at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
She performs most often at her local Philadelphia Helium Comedy Club and Punchline Philly as well as independently produced comedy shows by Don’t Tell Comedy, Moms Unhinged and Next in Line.
In hopes of expanding the artform, Leah blends her NYC standup comedy club style background with live music, games, storytelling, and clown (the cool kind, not the balloon animal stuff you are thinking. Think Jacques Lecoq and Gaulier, not squirting flowers).
